Abdul Raqeeb Kola Replied on June 18, One other issue I thought may be from registry entries, so I ran Wise registry cleaner and still the drivers won't install. Also, I considered going into safe mode and trying it but for some reason, hitting F8 isn't allowing the boot options menu to come up.

Are you able to install other applications successfully on your computer? The only thing Brother has been able to help with is stating that it's usually a 3rd party antivirus software causing the issue.

In reply to Liza. I never seen This before. I have not been able to install these drivers, including doing a safe boot to ensure no third party software is blocking the install but all attempts have failed. I have gone as far as uninstalling my antivirus and it still will not install the drivers.

Is there something else to try?

According to the description the advanced copy offers all the features of the home version so I selected that layout. When the MFCdw was finished connecting, it printed a network report with confirmation or an error code if connection failed.

I connected it to the router wirelessly using WPS and had no problems with it. The scan software is basic and lacks the auto image scan where it detects the brohher of the image or if there are multiple images on the flatbed but it gets the job done. So if there isn't anything else you guys can think of, I'll be returning this product and going with another brand.
